Photo Recovery Team on its Way to Help Fire Victims

RecoverMyWorld's Manager of Operations, Candice Huckeby, is devastated to hear about the recent wildfires in Southern California. "We've been through it before, and we know how it feels," empathized Candice, recollecting the massive recovery operations undertook when her work place, DigMyPics, was nearly destroyed in a devastating fire. Until now there was no course of action when a natural disaster destroyed photo collections.

Motivated to help the families who fear they have lost all of their memories, RecoverMyWorld quickly assembled a team who is now headed to California to help. In an effort to salvage and recover any information, they will take on the work of collecting charred and damaged photos and film from the families affected by the fires. They will work hard to salvage irreplaceable memories.

The Photo Recovery Team of Candice, Crystal, Julie and Tom will be on the scene collecting recovered photos and film from 10am-6pm at the following times and locations:

Santa Barbara - Tea Fire: Thursday November 20th at the Davis Center or San Marcos High School. The Davis Center is located at 1232 De La Vina Street and San Marcos High School at 4750 Hollister Ave.

San Bernandino - Freeway Complex Fire: Friday November 21st at the American Red Cross Inland Empire Chapter located at 202 West Rialto Ave.

They are eager to help, and are excited about the unique service they provide. They recommend using gloves and eye protection when sorting through the rubble, and above all exercise safety first. Once the damaged photos and film are recovered, they should be taken to the Photo Recovery Team.

If you miss the team you can still bag and box your items and ship them to the Recovery Center or call toll free 1-877-472-2973.

It is good to know there is a service available to help recover photos and videos that might have been lost forever. It is one less thing the families will have to worry about. The Photo Recovery Team understands the significance of photos. That is why RecoverMyWorld does everything possible to deliver photos from harm, and give them new life as digital images with online storage for protection.
